CIBC Asset Management Launches New Index ETFs

TORONTO, September 16, 2021 / CNW / – CIBC (TSX: CM) (NYSE: CM) – Today, CIBC Asset Management Inc. (CAM) announced the launch of two new exchange-traded index funds (ETFs) designed to hedge the major exposures of a typical asset allocation strategy. These CIBC ETFs aim to replicate the performance of large-scale equity and fixed income indices from Morningstar, an independent provider of investment research and indices. This launch builds on the CAM of core index ETFs launched on March 31, 2021 and complements CAM’s initial lineup of index ETFs.

These new CIBC ETFs will be among the cheapest ETFs currently available on the Canadian market and will allow investors to gain exposure to global fixed income and emerging markets.
