Maya Bhandari has been appointed Global Head of Multi-Asset at BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM), effective November 1, and will be responsible for the development of the company’s multi-asset business.
Bhandari, who will report to Denis Panel, CIO of multi-asset, quantitative and solutions for the company, comes from Columbia Threadneedle Investments (CTI) where she worked as the executive director of its multi-asset portfolio business.
During his tenure at CTI, Bhandari co-managed a range of diversified global growth strategies, as well as institutional and multi-asset income mandates.

Bhandari will focus on strengthening the company’s multi-asset investment process and achieving strong and consistent returns for clients.
It will also contribute to research for BNPP AM, a central element of its investment approach, as well as to the integration of ESG into its multi-asset offering.
Prior to joining CTI, Bhandari was Director of Global Macroeconomics and Asset Allocation at Citigroup.
