  • Okta, Inc. OKTA fell 33.7% to close at $60.60 after the company reported its second quarter results and issued financial guidance for the third and fiscal year 23. Several analysts also lowered their price targets on the title.
  • Getty Images Holdings, Inc. GETY fell 28.8% to close at $14.42.
  • Semtech Company TCMS Shares fell 27.2% to close at $33.65 after the company released third-quarter sales guidance that fell below analysts’ estimates. Cowen & Co. and Oppenheimer also downgraded the title.
  • MongoDB, Inc. MDB shares fell 25.3% to close at $241.11 after the company released earnings guidance that fell below analysts’ estimates.
  • C3.ai, Inc. AI fell 19.3% to close at $14.52 after the company reported worse-than-expected first-quarter sales results and released third-quarter and FY23 sales forecasts below analysts’ estimates.
  • Genesco inc. GCO fell 18.4% to close at $46.16 as the company lowered its guidance for FY23.
  • GitLab Inc. GTLB fell 15.6% to close at $50.53.
  • Lands’End, Inc. THE fell 15.3% to $11.70 after the company released Q3 EPS and FY22 sales and EPS guidance fell below estimates.

  • Veeva Systems Inc. VEEV fell 14% to $171.42 after the company released Q3 and FY23 sales guidance that fell below analysts’ estimates.

  • HubSpot, Inc. HUBS fell 8% to $310.01. Shares of software companies traded lower amid rising Treasury yields and expectations of Fed rate hikes, which would impact growth stock valuations.
  • NVIDIA Corporation NVDA fell 7.7% to close at $139.37 following a late filing on Wednesday by the company which revealed that the US government had communicated to it the need to obtain a license to export its powerful processors from IA such as the A100 and the yet to be released H100 chips to China. This would prevent the export of these chips to China, one of its main markets.
  • Hormel Foods Corporation HRL fell 6.6% to close at $46.98 after the company reported weak third-quarter results and lowered its FY22 profit forecast.
  • Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. MPWR fell 6.1% to close at $425.47.
  • Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. AMD fell 3% to close at $82.33 on news that chipmakers were slapped by some restrictions on exporting chips to China.
